5 month10 monthexamination

10 Month Course:

Duration:
Start November 1st 2001.  Final paper required by 31.8.02

Method:
Correspondence course based on own motivation.
Personal Tutor assigned to each student to assist throughout.
Comprehensive course documentation/instructions.
will be despatched last week of October for November 1st start.
One set of questions per month for ten months.
Fisher George Memorial Trophy Award for the Best Student.

Cost:
£400 per student (no VAT) at time of confirmed booking.
Provisional booking with £50 deposit (non refundable)
will be taken until 21.10.01.
Cancellations must be made four weeks in advance of the start date or 50% of the fee will be liable.

Workshops:
Informal practical days with Lecture, discussions and hands-on.
Refreshments provided and included in Course fee.
Diploma presentation to successful students at Workshop 2.
Provisional dates. Venues to be confirmed.
Workshop 1 – Wednesday January 30th 2002 in London.
Workshop 2 – Wednesday June 12th 2002 in London.
Workshop 3 – Wednesday September 11th 2002 – in London.

For a successful conclusion to this Course,
attendance is vital!

Visits to factories, tanneries etc.:
Encouraged, and can be arranged upon request.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION:

Duration:
Starting anytime at your convenience.
No time-scale for completion.

Method:
Examination sent without obligation to complete it.
Only for the experienced Fitter.
Papers are sent to the Board of Examiners anonymously.
Your exam will be coded with a number known only to
the Secretary who will collate the marks received,
to ensure strict confidentiality.
Diplomas will be graded
50-75% Pass 76-90% Distinction 91% and over Honours.
If the Examiners are doubtful about your experience or
practical background, a visit to you may be arranged.

Cost:
£200 sterling (no VAT) –
together with the exam when submitted for marking.
If unsuccessful, a reduction will be made to the Course fee.

Conclusion:
Full benefits and rules of membership apply if successfully completed.
